Adam Kehrwald was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota in 1978. He attended South Dakota State University before moving to Baltimore, Maryland, and later attending law school in San Diego, California. He was admitted to the bar in Iowa in 2006 and practiced law in Denison, Iowa, before establishing a residence in Des Moines in 2007. Adam Kehrwald is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association and the Polk County Bar Association. Mr. Kehrwald is an avid reader who enjoys learning about religious, political, and scientific developments around the world. He studies Shotokan Karate, Taekwando, and other martial art forms. A budding musician, he enjoys attending theatre, concerts, and other local performances with his wife in the Des Moines area.
